Brief explanation
A squeegee is an essential tool for properly applying window film. During installation, both the glass and the film must be moistened. This moisture (water and SCALASOL® TO-MOVE) is crucial to prevent the film from sticking immediately to the glass. Moisture bubbles may form under the film, which can be easily pushed out with the heavy-duty squeegee. This squeegee is specially designed to apply extra pressure to thicker or stiffer window films (>120 microns).

Usage
Window films with a thickness greater than 120 microns include security window film, insulating window film, and safety film. The professional heavy-duty squeegee is ideal for applying these films accurately and securely. The best method is to squeegee from the center outward to the edges, allowing the moisture to escape at the sides. It is advisable to immediately wipe the edges with a cloth or paper towel to prevent moisture from seeping back under the film.
