Description UV blocking window film GXR
Short description
Clear UV blocking film prevents discolouration due to UV radiation from outside. UV rays can have a harmful effect, causing your furnishings to fade. Furniture, flooring, curtains, etc. can be irrevocably damaged by discolouration caused by UV radiation. Clear UV blocking film is the perfect solution to prevent that from happening. GXR anti UV window film is transparent and consequently invisible on the window, which is just one of the reasons UV protection window film is commonly used in shops: it prevents discolouration of the wares in the windows. You can prevent the products in your shop becoming unsaleable by using UV protection window film. GXR clear UV blocking film blocks 99% of harmful UV radiation. Anti UV window film GXR lets 92% of light inside – the daylight access is 92%, which is a very high percentage, as it blocks 99% of UV radiation. The daylight access refers to the amount of light that the window still lets in once GXR film has been applied to it. As well as blocking out UV rays, UV protection window film blocks 14% of heat.
Application
Anti UV window film is transparent and consequently does not change the visibility, either from inside or outside. The film does not alter the architectural features of a building. The film’s transparency guarantees colourfastness, making UV blocking film suitable for use in historic and listed buildings where changes to the building’s appearance are not permitted. As well as offering protection against UV rays, UV protection film reduces glare by 13%. It means that screen vision when you use things like computer monitors, television screens and tablets, improves considerably without any annoying glare on the screen. In addition to its main purpose – stopping harmful UV radiation – UV film still has plenty of other advantages, despite its transparency. And that’s what makes GXR a multifunctional window film. GXR film is intended for indoor use, which means that this film should be applied to the inside of the pane.
Note
-
In addition to UV radiation, there are several other factors that can cause discolouration of your furniture, flooring, or curtains. For example, halogen and LED lighting with a high blue light content can also lead to fading over time. Furthermore, moisture and temperature fluctuations can accelerate chemical reactions in materials, which may also result in colour changes. The GXR only blocks UV radiation that enters through the glass.

* The light measurements (VLT & VLR) were performed using laboratory equipment and are based on monochromatic light. Therefore, below we provide a realistic indication of light transmission in practical applications on a bright, sunlit summer day.
