Brief Explanation
Before you start applying window film, both the glass and the film must be moistened. This is necessary because otherwise the film will immediately stick to the glass. Water alone is not sufficient; the adhesive layer will still bond directly to the glass. The solution is to add a splash of SCALASOL® TO-MOVE concentrate to the water. This concentrate is specially developed to temporarily disable the adhesive layer of window films.

Usage
Because the adhesive layer is temporarily disabled, you can perfectly position the film on the window without it sticking immediately. In addition, SCALASOL® TO-MOVE also reduces the amount of moisture trapped between the film and the glass. This means you have to squeegee out less moisture, for example using the SCALASOL® Felt Squeegee or the SCALASOL® Heavy Squeegee.

Brief Explanation
A squeegee is an essential tool for applying window film correctly. During installation, both the glass and the film must be moistened. This moistening (with water and SCALASOL® TO-MOVE) is necessary to prevent the film from sticking immediately to the glass. The moistening process creates moisture bubbles under the film. These bubbles are easily removed using the felt squeegee. This tool is equipped with a felt strip to prevent damage to the film while squeegeeing.

Usage
The best method is to squeegee from the center outward toward the edges of the film so that the moisture can escape along the sides. It is advisable to wipe away the moisture at the edges with a clean cloth or paper towel to prevent it from seeping back under the film.
