Short description
Safety stickers are widely used in public spaces, such as reception areas, cafeterias, hospitals, or municipal buildings. These areas are often visited by people who are not fully familiar with the surroundings. For this group, the risk of accidentally walking into a glass panel is higher, which can result in unpleasant and painful situations. To prevent this, you can easily apply a pattern of ‘Lotus’ safety stickers. The distinctive Lotus pattern significantly reduces the likelihood of accidents. In this way, you can easily contribute to a safer working or living environment.

Variants
Safety stickers with a ‘Lotus’ pattern are available in four different colours: black, white, yellow, and frosted. All colours are clearly distinguishable from clear glass, significantly reducing the risk of collisions with a glass panel. The black and white options blend well into any environment. The frosted colour is more subtle but still clearly visible. For added visibility to alert visitors or customers to the presence of glass, you can choose the warning colour yellow.

Pattern: Lotus
The anti-collision pattern "Lotus" consists of a repeating sequence of 6 lotus flowers per meter, each measuring 56 mm x 120 mm with transparent spaces of 56 mm in between. The row, with a total height of 56 mm, ensures optimal visibility and increased safety on glass surfaces.

Signal film / window marking film provides additional protection against injury. SCALASOL® can never be held liable for glass breakage, personal injury, or any resulting costs.

• According to European safety guidelines, glass doors and walls in public or commercial spaces must be clearly visible to prevent collisions. In many countries, it is mandatory to apply glass markings at eye level, often at two heights, for example between 85–100 cm and 140–160 cm. This may include safety stickers, decorative elements, or anti-collision film. These visible markings increase safety for visitors and staff, help prevent accidents, and support compliance with national labour and safety regulations. In addition, they reduce the risk of liability in the event of damage or injury.

Application

Preparation
Before applying the signal stickers, you must carry out the necessary preparations. The glass should be thoroughly cleaned using SCALASOL® TO-PREPARE and the SCALASOL® glass scraper.

Application of signal stickers
Applying signal stickers can easily be done yourself by following our clear installation guide. The guide is included as standard. The stickers come on a backing paper and are covered with a transparent application film, ensuring the pattern remains precisely in place during installation. You simply position the sheet at the desired spot and then remove the backing paper. The guide includes clear illustrations for support. Anti-collision safety stickers are applied using a dry method.

• Would you like to apply safety stickers to a Low-E / Triple facade window? In that case, we do not recommend choosing the black colour. Black can cause uneven heat distribution on Low-E glass due to sunlight, which often results in thermal breakage of the glass.

The window marking film can be easily installed using our installation tools. The SCALASOL® felt squeegee is essential for applying the safety stickers accurately and without bubbles. Before applying the window film, the glass must be thoroughly cleaned. For this, we recommend our SCALASOL® TO-PREPARE glass cleaner.
